Description de la structure

We would like to recruit a PhD or post-doctoral research scientist to join the ANTIBIOVAC team, http://apemac.univ-lorraine.fr/node/536. The research in our interdisciplinary team  (15 senior researchers, mixing healthcare professionals and social scientists) focuses on antimicrobial stewardship and vaccination practices. The team has many national and international collaborations, with more than 30 current research projects and more than 30 publications per year.

Missions

The post involves research on an interventional controlled study conducted in our region, aiming at assessing the impact on antibiotic use of a bundled intervention (public commitment + practical tools) targeting general practitioners.

Profil recherché

Applicants should have:
– for PhD students: a Master in epidemiology/public health/biostatistics
– for a Post-Doctoral fellowship: a PhD in epidemiology/public health/biostatistics

Applicants should have experience in writing scientific manuscripts and should be familiar with data management and statistical methods. Previous experience in the field of infectious diseases is desirable. The PhD student or Post-Doctoral scientist will work collaboratively with other scientists within the ANTIBIOVAC team. S/he will be in charge of project management,
supervision of data management and statistical analyses, interpretation of results and the writing of journal articles for publication of research findings from this work, under the supervision of senior researchers.
